Sellfy V3 is Here: Includes Shopping Cart, Facebook Pixel, Zapier & more

A lot has changed since the beginning of this year. We made some major updates and added lots of new features – big and small. From new store layout and advanced customization to new discount manager. Yet our biggest update of the year (so far) happens now – that’s why we call it Sellfy V3

What’s new in version 3?

We just added a whole bunch of highly-requested features to PRO plan, including:

  1. Shopping cart
  2. Facebook pixel
  3. Zapier integration
  4. webhooks & more!

Our product changes, but our goal remains the same – to empower creators around the world to earn a living doing what they love. Hopefully, these new features will help more of you get there 🙌

Now let’s dive deeper into the new features.

Shopping cart

Shopping cart gives your customers the ability to purchase multiple items at once, both on your Sellfy store and via embeds on your own website.

Here’s a quick demo of the shopping cart appearance during checkout.

Facebook Pixel

The Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding the actions people take on your Sellfy store.

Or simply put, it’s what helps you run ads and know if they are returning a positive return on your investment. Read more in our docs or proceed to set up your Facebook pixel.

Zapier Integration

As our first integration, we decided to team up with Zapier and provide you with the most powerful integration possible. For those of you who don’t know, Zapier is an online platform that allows you to connect with your favorite apps and automate different tasks.

Using Zapier, you will be able to integrate your Sellfy store with more than 750 apps, streamline your selling process and ultimately grow your business. Read more about it in our docs or get your API key to set up Zapier.

Pricing plan changes

We’re adjusting our pricing plans to more accurately reflect the value store owners get from Sellfy and to make room for some great new features coming in the future.

  • Good news for the Starter plan users. All plans have unlimited products now.
  • Our most active sellers will be happy to learn that we’re introducing “PRO Plus” plan with zero transaction fee.
  • Like Starter plan users, our Legacy plan users will no longer have access to email marketing.
  • All plans will have a credit-based email marketing.

You can check the full list of features for our new plans on the pricing page.

Important: New pricing is only for new customers. The pricing change will not affect your plan. You are grandfathered into your current pricing plan.

How to enable these changes?

All the new features are available as part of our “PRO” and “PRO Plus” plans.

Shopping cart is enabled by default, to disable it you just have to flip the switch in settings.

To enable Facebook Pixel or Zapier integration, head to the Integrations section of your settings.

Webhooks (for experienced developers only) are available in the same section.

Is there any way to put link to Sellfy checkout page on my website, so my customers can get more seamless purchasing experience?
Currently the customer will be a little bit lost if they accidentally close the popup window after adding the items to their cart. They need to add another item to cart in order to open the checkout page.

    • sellfy

Hi Zuhria! Thanks for your comment.
Currently there is a way to do so, but it would just take a buyer to Sellfy shopping cart (it may be empty, if a buyer didn’t add any items yet). A solution would be to create a link like this: https://sellfy.com/sellfy-demo-store/checkout/ , where you would replace `sellfy-demo-store` with your own store name.
We are planning to introduce some improvements in the embed code in the nearest future so that sellers are able to embed real shopping cart button/widget on their website. Stay tuned!

That’s definitely what I’m looking for. Thanks. 🙂

Ah, I’m about to suggest that cart button. Can’t wait to see it live.

  • Tenoku Software

I love these updates, Google analytics and Facebook pixel are extremely useful. Would it be a good idea to have a sticky “buy it now” button on the single product page? So visitors can see the button when scrolling down in large product descriptions.

    • sellfy

Yes, sticky “buy now” buttons will be on product pages soon!

  • I love the shopping cart update! I can already imagine more sales coming through 🙂 Thanks!

  • Akvile

I’m a long time fan of Zappier. Glad to see it integrated within your platform now too.

  • threepointplay

I appreciate the efforts and am very excited to see fb pixel finally integrated, thanks!

  • Ingrida Bajoraitytė

Shopping cart addition is definitely a nice touch

  • Justas Markus

Sweet! I guess now I’ll have to upgrade to pro just because of this facebook pixel update!

  • Juste Semetaite

Happy to be here and see my fav eCommerce platform evolving!

  • LUCΛS’ GraphicsTM

Its very nice, but how are you supposed to search? How are potential costumers gonna find our work?

    • Skærvind

This is what I want to know – they removed the search feature, and I used it all of the time to find artwork bases.

  • Skærvind

Is there a way to actually search sellfy now that you’ve taken the search bar out? I can’t imagine why you’d take such a vital feature out.

  • Neon4Life

how the hell do you expect people to buy things. There is no way for people to search for products. Absolute idiots. Only want to make money off sellers.
